I have no problem with talking about any issues. the point is that I do not accept that the relationship with aryes carries enough weight to tilt the vote to mccain. Mccain has blown it. He has made a very big mistake with palin. his problem is that he is pallin with palin

that is not the issue. she is not ready. this is not about her, it is about what is better for our country. in 12 years she might be. she can run for the congress next and maybe run for president then.
she might be a nice gun but there are no bullets. bullets comes with time.

Yes, he knows Ayers, no one said otherwise. But they don't "pal around". They are not pals or buddies, that is a flat out lie. They served on a board together, a board of a group trying to improve schools for children in Chicago. A board sponsored by a conservative, Annenberg. Apparently Annenberg thought it was OK for Ayers to be on the board. Are you suggesting Obama should have walked out of the board meeting because one of the other board members was involved in criminal activity 40 years ago??? By that standard, nothing would ever get accomplished. Are you suggesting that no one should ever work with Ayers for the rest of his life because of what he did 40 years ago? Even if Ayers is attempting to improve the world now?

As for Ayers comment that he wished he had done more, I took it to mean, he wished he had done something effective to stop the Vietnam war. I wish it could have been stopped sooner too, before one of my best friends died there. Ayers must be rehabilitated, or he wouldn't be allowed to work on behalf of children, and he wouldn't have been awarded Citizen of the Year in 1997 by the city of Chicago.

How old are you? Were you around when they read off the names of the dead in Vietnam every night on TV, until the list got too long, so then they just scrolled the names on screen, until that list became too long, and then they just gave us the numbers of our dead soldiers every night? And then people just had to quit watching the news because it was so painful. You know, it was all for nothing, 52 thousand dead, for nothing. That war was started on a lie, the Gulf of Tonkin incident was mischaracterized to the American people to justify the war.

 

Don't forget about The Woods Project, or where Obama got his start in politics. Sounds like friends to me.

McCain knows Dick Cheney, George Bush, G. Gordon Liddy, and Charles Keating, All Crooks, Liars, Thieves and And he knows them all personally.

Calls them friends and Great Americans. Even took money from Keating, and voted with George Bush as he was destroying the economy.
I'll take a charity association any day over fishing, and week end "keggers" with the biggest crooks in American History.

So maybe Ayers was part of a group in the turbulent 60's that had issues with the U.S. Government, at least he didn't walk away with the economy in his investment portfolio.

Tood Palin was registered with a group that wanted to succeed for the U.S....like in the civil war days, up until a few years ago. The founder of the A.I.P. has total disgust for the U.S. , the Flag, and the Constitution of the U.S.
Sarah Palin was blessed by a Priest that claims to have ousted a witch from a village in Kenya. A Witch ! She claims his blessing was a driving force in becoming Governor. A WITCH !...and what the hell was he doing in Kenya...when Barack Obama went there , he was all of a sudden a Muslim, even though it was his fathers homeland. Republicans even had the photos all around the internet like he was in some Pakistani Terror Boot Camp. But you can go on a witch hunt, literally, and it's O.K.

So keep on the Ayers thing....OBAMA was 8 years old when Ayers was a radical.

McCain was a grown assed man when he was "pallin' around with crooks and thieves. And he still hangs with them today.

No contest, McCain and Palin's group of friends and lobbyist are far more scary than an old 60's radical....and the Republicans are on a paranoid , gossip filled , smear campaign to turn everything...into Barack Obama is a terrorist.

It's not that he knows them but his denial of how close they were. The issue should also the misuse of funds and the conflict of interest in the disbursement of money.

We just launched the biggest Government handout in United States History to the tune of $790 Billion Dollars, and counting, from mismanagement of fund, greed, thievery and lies, which threatens to collapse financial markets around the world....and you are really going back 15 years to worry about what happened to a few school books ?

What happened to the last $40 Billion we just handed out ? That's what you should be asking, not about some local charity of years ago.

You don't seem to upset about the thousands that McCain took from Keating while he was collapsing every single Savings and Loan in the united States. How can you overlook that, to worry about a charity ?

 

And all those people need to be brought up on charges.

Its the same thing and Obama will repeat the same misuse of funds.

Obama's Presidency will be one big campaign to get reelected and the taxpayers will be footing the bill.
