In 1914 Jews were the majority population of Jerusalem.

As of 2005, Jerusalem is home to 475,000 Jews and 245,000 Arabs.

Who is they? Let's see what is worse -

    1. Jews helping other Jews financially with their own money who decide to move to Israel vs.

    2. Palestinian suicide bombers being offering thousands of dollars to blow up innocent Jewish people in Israel and being made martyrs within the community.

Hmmmm.... a really difficult choice. Until extremists like Hamas are removed from the picture, all they do is fan the flames. They fire at innocent Israelis, the Israelis must fight back to defend themselves and innocent people are hurt during those maneuvers. And what is your solution? Are you offering to move the million or so Jews back into the neighboring Arab lands and give them the same equal rights you're demanding?

its really interested that when people talk about the ownership of the land, as mentioned in many posts Israeli people are the one who are the owners of this land, if we go with this theory then there would be no land for the Muslims as Islam is the religion which comes very late after all the major religion.
so where should muslims go if Christians, Hindus, Jews, Buddha they all demand their land back from them.

so dont go into history like this land belong to particular religion or any community.

    why dont live in peace

Let the Arabs live where they are

and for Arabs and Hammas let the jews live where they are

The land of Israel was ruled by the Ottoman Turks and they gave the Jews permission to return to the land of Israel.

I dont get it, you justifying it by saying that ppl "did not form a country", thus we can do whatever we want? And at the same time you do accept that they lived there?

BTW, how is it you have confrontations in Israel if there are no arabs, according to your words?

I don't know much about Arabs, Palestinians, Muslims, or Isreal. I live in the U.S., and we think about other stuff like whats for dinner, and how much money we made today.

They are tons of people here from everywhere. We don't mind. So, chill out with the wars, and the childish attitude of "Its mine, this land is mine". Land belongs to no one but God. Focus on more important things like teaching love, respect, and generosity. Peace

Israel has more than 1 million arab citizens. It is a testament to Israel that Arabs can live in peace in Israel. I wonder what would happen if there were American or Jewish immigration to Arab countries?

The countries surrounding Israel have made a very poor effort to accept their fellow arabs that are refugees in their countries. In Lebanon alone there are 400,000 Palestinians that have little or no rights and are confined to refugee camps. These people have lived in Lebanon for 60 years and many are the 4th generation.

They are Palestinians, not Lebanese. When Jews from surrouding countries came to Israel they came to their homeland. Is that hard for you to get that simple fact?

The Palestinians have lived in Lebanon 60 years. Nearly all the 400,000 Palestinians were born in Lebanon and most likely their grandparents were born in Lebanon. At this point the Palestinians are immigrants that are kept in a state of despair in order to fuel the conflict.

No, they are not immigrants. They are war refugees and their problem could've been solved long time ago if Israel were one of those countires that comply with international laws and order and there wouldn't be any "fueling conflict".

lets summarize what you 2 are saying :)

They are refugees, but because the situation on their homeland is always "hot" with wars all the time, they cannot go back, thus making "4th generation kids", as bogart said.

Do you suggest to the ones who brave and stayed at home to leave their homes and go to Lebanon or elsewhere and help in making 5th generation over there, bogart?
