I can understand why the Palestinian people resent the Israeli occupation of their land. I'm not sure how accurate the maps below are, but I can see how the Israeli's have brought this hatred on them by others in the Middle East with the gradual encroachment on other people's land. Jordan is Palestine. The whole area was called the Trans-Jordan until 1947 and the West bank was part of Jordan until 1967. Another issue iis that within Israel there are 1 million people of Palestinian descent.
Who have more rights and freedoms then the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank Also there wasn't a Palestine until Great Britain gave them that name to piss off the jews.
Also if you care so much about the Palestinian people why isn't your question directed at Jordan which forces them to live in refuge camps (A Palestinian in Jordan can't own land) or allow them to part take in the economy (nor can they hold employment)

The plo gave the palestinian people a bad name. If you recall they tried to take over jordan and they tried it with lebanon by helping to bring about the 30 year lebanese civil war, but you gotta remember that there are palestinian people that back abbas that want peace with isreal. There must be a way to bring peace between these 2 people. Every innocent life that is lost on both sides is so precious . Native americans have been in america since the stone age. What is your point? Should we give all of america back to the indians . Currently they have less then 1% of their original land, and our brutality on them was much more than the isreali brutality against the palestinians. Actually if they meet the isrealis halfway i think a peace accord can be made before more settlements are built.
