The world is moving on without them, and I'm sure those of them that can read and write can see that.
Why would any sane person think it was OK to kill you wife or daughter if she was late home from the shops or was talking to some guy, maybe just saying hi to him.
Honour killing, has no honour what so ever,, It is the act of an uneducated man that has more in common with neanderthal man than modren human beings.
I still believe that most level headed muslims want to be seen as forward thinking and progressive,, it just that they live in countries where mad nut job leaders have other ideas.
I also know that we here in the so called west once had our own mad nut job leaders to deal with, but since WW2 we have moved on, It's not easy but it has to be done.

Coupla weeks ago i read a news story where a Pakistani shop owner skipped a big protest because, well, he's a shop owner and had more interest in being a responsible husband and father that provides for his family than going out in the streets to practice his angry face in honor of religion.

He was arrested after others complained about his failure to honor the prophet by neglecting his business.

This kind of thought makes countries that embrace jihadist mentality a collection of poverty stricken backward wannabes instead of productive players on the world stage. It is just like the North Koreans that get arrested if they dont show enough genuine enthusiasm for their dear leader.

There is just no way this type of forced zealotry is capable of producing a productive society.

Everyone has an opinion on Malala and quite rightly almost everyone condemns it. Searching for a Pakistani view I came across this:

    http://www.thenews.com.pk/Todays-News-9-138501-Feeding-a-monster

    Some quotes:

"The sympathy for Malala and her family is natural and the only human response. The condemnation of this cowardly and despicable act is rightly universal."

"But the Pakistani nation needs to be rational. Malala isn’t the first. She is only one of many killed daily. Each life lost is one too many. Rather than getting caught up in the hype, we need to question why this is happening. Pre-9/11 such incidents were unheard of. Pakistan was largely a safe country. "

"Every child in Pakistan knows Malala’s name. Every schoolgirl wants to be a Malala."
