Sorry But I had to Post this. It seems like finally Pakistan will beat South Africa, unless of course SA can pull a miracle out of the bag.

Shahid Afridi is killing them, he has made the 2nd fastest 50 in history.

ANyone think that South Africa will be able to beat the 351 target that has been set?

Nah, SA are doing well. You forget that we got over 400 runs to beat Aus, De villiers is batting well with Kallis. As long as one of them their we have a chance.

    AND, BOUCHER STILL TO COME....

    :)

Alls I can say is Afridi was robbed of his man of the match title. 3 wickets G"DAMIT! AND 74 runs off of so few balls.

And the poor South Africans not one player went over 50.

I better be careful dont want to be kicking myself if we dont do so good on Friday.

Nice victory by Pakistan. I saw the highlights a few moments ago, the SA innings was interrupted by electricity failure and I was so sleepy so couldn't see the live match after the electricity failure.

Good thing is that my favorite player, Imran Nazir, has performed very well and also Shahid Afridi... Lets see what happens in third match :)

Pretty shocked at the power failure in Durban. You do not expect that at an international venue. Azhar Mahmood took a wicket off his first ball after returning to international cricket.Asif bowled with great control, his spell was the reason South Africa's run rate didn't go above 6 in the first 20 overs.

As for Afridi, the pitch at Kingsmead is small, and he made full use of the short boundaries to smash 77 off approximately 6 overs.

Everyone knows that the farther north you habitate, the better you are at cricket. So obviously Pakistan will win.

That coming from someone who thought this would be a "who's better, Pakistan or S. Africa" post.

That is a big misconception on your part.

Australia and South Africa, two teams from the South have dominated World Cricket in recent times. Even New Zealand does pretty well.

Yeah, the Durban stadium is a small ground. It is quite easy to hit 6s there, even when I was playing I managed to hit a couple on that ground.

The electricity cut was a bit surprising as it should not really happen but alas it always does, I wont excuse them by saying it put them off but it couldnt have been easy.

Third game will be good to watch, SA do have a better chance at winning as they are at home and have a better performing one day side. Kemp need to realize that he is not a one runner, he needs to go for it early or he gets himself out. De' Villiers is such a quality player but i think he is a bit immature at times.

Afridi can really hit the shit outta ball, bit too inconsistent at times though. Asif has been bowling flipping well, Pakistan just need to be carefull as they might loose him for World Cup (doesnt matter anyway as SA are going to win ;-))

I think Inzamam isn't using him wisely. Bowling 10 overs in a row isn't easy. He should have given him a little rest. He did get a little injury in last over and was looking very very tired, but good thing was that it wasn't big. I hope Inzamam will use him wisely in future (i.e. shorter spells).

heh, i think the injury was a fake out, because BAM right after the next ball we all know what happened.
