The Dubai stadium was so great... i really liked it..was different then all the others.

Australia batted so poorly...didnt expect that from that. I was looking forward to Shane Watson and Symonds hitting some big sixes.

Afridi got a new record for the most wicket taker pakistani against Australia. He got 6 wickets. A good come back by him.

Shoaib Akhtar managed to play the whole game, and bowl really well, which is a good come back after his injuries.

Australia team needs good management as they lost alot of good players which might be causing them to have a tough time in the field.

Australia made 168.

Pakistan won by 4 wickets...which for some reason they were playing so slow...they couldve just finished it earlier instead of playing useless shots

Overall, the match was pretty boring except the 6 wickets of Shahid Afridi....

Australia needs to work on their team and make this series a tough one.

Next ODI on Friday...Looking forward to a tough match.

 

Thats great that he took 6 wickets. I like him.

ANd also its good that Australians lost the match. THey need to lose some games.

Australia has been in a bad shape since 2-3 series....They need their retired openers back

 

After deciding not to take part in ipl, pointing , mike hussy and Johnston..... all three should have played the series against Pakistan..... They have taken the Pakistanis very lightly... They need this defeat.... As a matter of act... Australia is the worst ODI team of 2009 so far...They have the highest loss percentage....

I saw the match,they were unable to read the spin,8 wickets were taken by spinners only.

 

Pakistan played really good cricket and they have beaten australia very convincingly and i think pakistan is going to win the series .

 

Well there is still alot of matches to go, and Pakistan has got all their major players back in the team and in form.

Its going to be a tough series.

 

And on other side Australia is missing their players like Hussey, Ponting and Lee.

 

I just thought is this the number one team in cricket? Pakistanies played very well in the match...

 

I think Pakistan was playing their best, and Younis Khan the new Pakistan captain has done a great job...but if Symonds, Clarke, and Watson gets going, then there is a problem for Pakistan team. All of them got out so fast.

Lets see what happens tomorrow.

 

I think Australia is going to lose this time. Many players have their mind in IPL because they are going to paid well there.

 

The match starts in about 7hrs.

haha, Australia has troubled alot of countries in the past in cricket...

 

Looks like the Australia has won the 2nd ODI. So its a tie now 1-1 with still 3 matches to go. It could be anyone game.

2nd ODI was played very smartly by the Aussies, but the Pakistanis played very poorly in batting, which caused the loss in the game.

The 3rd ODI is on Monday in a different stadium.

Well after watching two matches we can say that it's hard to make runs in Dubai and both team working hard to make some runs.

 

The pitch was very weird...i have never seen a pitch like this. The ball was not getting on the bat...it was always staying very low or very high like unpredictable bouncers, but very good for spinners.

Lets hope the ground in Abu Dhabi is better.

 

Yes you are right! I too see pitch is not up to mark. Abu Dhabi have better ground and pitch and we would see some big scores. I would love to see matches in Sarjah once again.
