Pakistan has started making Railway Station near India's border, a village in Barmer district of Rajasthan taking help of China. As Pakistan knew US is under severe recession time so it cannot get financial aid from it. So started building relation with China to harm India. War here and there is really sickening. Hope this people will realize they are just wasting life, time, and money. Let's make love not war!
I just worked out your atrocious spelling is probably doing DP some good. See, I do look for the good in the bad people.
I told you to get off the crack pipe.. It's seriously damaging your brain mate.. Building a railway station does not equate to planning an attack. Pakistan is no way in position to start a war, China is not foolish to support a war against India right now. Things are pretty good, so relax.. PS: And seriously stop smoking weed..
Not war as it for improving economic relationship with China.. Establishing railways doesn't mean war
Well the fact is that Pakistan will not be able to get water real soon, hence it will have to buy all it's food from overseas. Without US's handouts, it's growing population will have a choice between a famine or war for food/water. Now who has water in that region? Afghanistan? No. I don't know if China will back Pakistan but Pakistan will have to choose between killing off a lot of young people in war or starving them and their families to death at home. How else you can feed your ever-growing population? The food is expensive and the crops are failing worldwide mind me reminding you.
Pakistan and China are building stand-off against India and we must be prepared for them. Read this post - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2272849
yeah right. Pakistan can never attack india. both are nuclear countries. use some common sense before posting threads.
I can't see any war starting, one is a minnow and the other is a giant,, One lives on handouts, and the other is fast emerging as a global economic super power. But both would be better if they spent their cash on their people rather then WMD..
I disagree with you, both are nuclear powers and both have medium range missiles. While Pakistan's military is only 40% as large as India's it is generally recognized that it is better trained than the Indian army. They have so far fought 3 wars and neither side has ever gained an advantage over the other.
There should be some sort of global rule,, that for every 5,000 of your people that live without running water and access to electricity, you should have to hand back one of your atom bombs, or demob one army regiment. That being said,, where I live, we have an army of 10,000, and all carry secondhand guns, that we got by exchanging blocks of butter for them.
You are half right Linda. Pakistan clearly gained advantage over India in 1947, after successfully capturing a portion of Kashmir and retaining the control after the war. It still controls that portion of Kashmir. Neither nation had any advantage in 1965. It is a surprise though, because in 1965, not only the morale of Indian military was down after facing a humiliating defeat from China in 1962, also the Pakistani air-force was way too advance (with American beasts of an Aircraft, Sabre Jets) than Indian air-force. Pakistan knew it had an edge over Indian forces, and it was confident (probably a bit over confident). But they failed to cash in the early advantage they had. Partly due to American blockade on spare part supplies to Pakistan, which effectively grounded most of it's fleet of Sabres. However in 1971, India clearly scored a win as Pakistani army surrendered in East Pakistan, allowing East Pakistan to declare independence from West Pakistan and become Bangladesh. West Pakistan failed in it's retaliation against India on western border as well. But it's the history, India has gone a long way from 1971. India has third largest army in the world, and I'm not really sure about your source that says Pakistani army is better trained than their Indian counterpart. Important points to note - ~ India has a GDP (ppp) of 4 trillion (4th in the world, just a few notches behind Japan), while Pakistan's GDP of 400 Billion is just 10% in comparison. ~ India is not dependent on foreign aid, Pakistan desperately needs aid. ~ India has a way better infrastructure than Pakistan. ~ India can last in a war much longer than Pakistan. ~ Indian military is better equipped and modernized. True that Pakistan has equally devastating nuclear capabilities and missiles to carry them, It lack the defense mechanism of India however. With Airborne early warning, Satellite based remote imaging systems and effective mid air interceptor missiles India has a strong defense against nuclear attack. ~ India can successfully garner support from it's key European Allies like UK, France, Germany, long term friends Russia, Israel and Japan as well as the strategic partner US (to some extends, if not full support). So if we talk about today, India has a clear and visible edge over Pakistan. Although, in my personal opinion, I certainly don't want to see another war between these two nations, we have already had enough. This is time for peace and progress. It's kinda true that we can't get along very well, but we can at least leave each other alone and focus on the progress and prosperity. PS: As far as Indian Nukes are concerned, I'd rather see 20 nuclear reactors producing electricity for masses than 100 nuclear bombs. But being a neighbor of China with an on and off border dispute and experience of an unprovoked aggression followed by a world wide humiliation is not an easy task. I'm a keen opponent of the idea of having WMDs of any kind, but when our two neighbors, with a hostile history, are more than capable of wiping my entire nation off the map, I'm left with no choice but to have a deterrent and unfortunately, we have no Ironman.
