Pakistan still backing ant-India terror groups: US study

I wonder why US and other western nations carry on giving massive aid to a country that exports terrorism around the world. Even after New York, Madrid, London and Mumbai terror incidents have been traced to Pakistan...that country's army and secret services still covertly support terrorism as a means of influencing foreign policy.

lol!!! its been common and there is not going to be any change from them, they would even sponsor more, why to bother about these issues and break our heads
Their govt. has publicly funded LeT, which runs under a new name now, as a "social service organization "

now this thread is going to lead lashes and backlashes, we ain't going to find a solution to it

Because it beats the alternative. There are significant numbers of supporters of terrorism in Pakistan, as is apparent from some of the people posting on this forum. I'd still venture a guess that those who oppose it out number those who support it. Why would you want to just abandon the people in Pakistan who want peace to the cruel devices of the madmen in their midst? Have you forgot they control Nuclear weapons?

the prob doesn't arise in just supporters of terrorism but when you find the govt. not acting on a terror act, it only encourages to do more, look at the people like Hafiz Saeed, he goes on making hatred speaches and he never gets barred from his public nuisance, he can carry on and in additional he gets funds from the local govt.

when a govt. acts swiftly on a bunch of retards, others wouldn't dare to commit the same mistake, when it doesn't then ................

You've got to be very very careful when wishing for any government to crack down on people for what hey say, regardless of how hateful you find it. Speaking out as you are against such idiocy is the correct approach IMO. Muslims have a hard time getting their brain around Islamophobia, but the voices most of the rest of the planet hears are the Islamic voices of people like Saeed. He needs to be allowed to say what he has to say, and the Muslim community itself should be the ones criticizing him and laughing him out of town as a promoter of hatred. Silent dissent is not enough. It equates to endorsement of his philosophy.

Thats exactly the double game I wanted to highlight. On the one hand the Pakistani govt demands aid from the west to fight the extremists (and gets huge amounts too), and then secretly supports the extremists to fight the coalition in Afghanistan.

I do get Obamanation's point but I think pushing economic sanctions on Pakistan will be more instrumental in plugging the gaps and getting work done. The same wont help in the case of Iran (which the US is trying to do) because Iran has oil and it''s economy is self sufficient. Pakistan's economy on the other hand is heavily dependent on foreign aid. Turn off the taps and see the difference.

Don't know why US turns a blind eye towards EVIL pakistan. US should pull the aid it have been flooding pakistan with, else the consequences will be catastrophic for the whole world.

The worry is that a weakened Pakistani government would be replaced by an even more Taliban-friendly regime.

It's beginning to feel like a Hobson's choice.

just try to stop aid and support to terror groups from the armed and intelligence force, then find the difference if really Talibans can dominate you

Except Zimbio.com, SATP.ORG and SouthAsia Anaylysis.Org, all of the rest are shitty Pakistani links with no credibility whatsoever.

The post on Zimbio.com is actually taken from Rupee News - a very well known Pakistan based propaganda and disinformation site that some Pakistanis take as real news. Can you give me any credible neutral source that proves Taliban is funded and supported by India?

The SATP.ORG link only shows a list of terrorist/militant organisations that are active in India (and are against the Indian government).

The southasiaanalysis.org link only talks about How Bin Laden has rarely spoken against India in general except expressing support for the jihad against Indian rule in Kahsmir. How does it show that the Taliban is funded by Indians????

It shows how deluded you guys have become. Please use your brains once in a while and open your eyes to the realities of the world. Stop living in a bubble of propaganda.
