According to the new clock changes announcement by the Pakistan Government, Pakistan standard time will change at 12:00 AM. Midnight between Tuesday, April 14, 2009 and Wednesday, April 15, 2009 clocks are turned forward 1 hour to Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 1:00:00 AM. Don't forget to change your clock timings Thanks PHYza
lol,,,....don't you know why it is all happening??? if you don't know then why you've started this topic friend
Try to understand whatever you have posted: The time has changed to use more daylight time so that people go to work just after fajar and can work till magrib as magrib will be at 7:45 PM now so this is just to use more daylight time (Natural sunlight) and that has nothing to do with loadshedding as loadshedding happens in the day time too... If you don't know then why you've posted in this thread my friend
It is a good practice and has been routinely followed by countries far off from equator... Australia is one such country which immediately comes to my mind which has been repeatedly doing it.... Does not such time adjusting cause lot of inconvenience to the public? Regards, RightMan
Well we should appreciate at least Govt trying to resolve energy issue, but why we are still not able to control on loadshading? i think its our fault we never try to save enegry, we use AC, FANS, LIGHTs in day time also
This is one of the "stupid" idea I think. It will not save any energy at all. Government has already accepted last year that no energy saved and the idea flopped, but they again implemented it this year, what a crap.
@ Rightman .. It does cause little bit inconvenience to the public in the start specially but it settles in 3 to 6 days and people get habitual of the new timing .. @ Vebtools ... Go to the same time to your school/colleges or universities.. Standard timing is changed but not your college timings... @ Glitto .. Try and try until u succeed Maybe we need to implement this method every year and we can surely save energy and as pnt_global said: We all need to realize that Govt. now can't do anything about it, we ourselves need to save electricity as much as we can which 95% people don't do it .. @ rky ... You are welcome anytime mate! Thanks PHYza
Yes, it is so called trying to solve the issue, but by putting "people" in problems. Will you work in office with lots of paper on table with a fan??? Will you work in office/home from 1PM to 4PM (the peak hot timings) by opening your windows and let the hot air coming? Will you not close the curtains and run AC? This is 21st century, and we are still running after small things...
Well i totally disagree as saving electricity does not mean that you put off your fans and AC and start working in day time.. IF you see some well developed countries, they are very much reserve in using electricity like if they leave a room they switch off fan and light and go to the next room and if you see our people, they just want all of the tubelights and fans on so that the house glow much uhh .. This is what we do and as you know few people are even using other's electricity by wiring and so on methods Do you still think we are running on small things?? We must run on small things as its 21st century and we still got these stupid problems effecting our lives. Thanks PHYza
