Why did they shoot him point blank? Did he die? He seems Unarmed, Video doesn't show him being a clear threat, was he a terrorist?

Man, that Video is very graphic, you should put a warning or something, and provide a link to that video instead of embedding it in your post. Also you only posted the video, no information. Didn't understand anything from the comments on the utube page..

    [edit]

Okay, here is the summary of the story that I found on the various Pakistani news sites:

The boy was a minor, 17-year-old Sarfaraz Shah, native of Karachi. It's alleged that he was caught trying to mug people in a park. Some people grabbed him and handed over to Pak Rangers, an elite para military force in pak. Instead of arresting him and/or handing him over to police, Rangers decided to execute a quick justice, and shot him point blank. 3 shots were fired, hitting him in hand and thighs. He begged them to take him to hospital, but his plea fell into deaf ears, he probably died of shock and excessive blood loss.

Now, he was unarmed, had no weapon on him and immediately surrendered to the rangers, there was no need to shot him. Also he wasn't mortally wounded, if they had taken him to hospital, it could have saved his life. the whole thing is unfortunate and simply inhuman. Whats more unfortunate? Even when the whole Pakistani media was airing this clip, Pakistan Ranger and Pakistan’s interior minister were justifying this cold blooded killing, claiming that he was a criminal, and was armed.

Important that we know we are here.
And know what we are doing.
Then we will not have to become one of them.

I wish we all find our own way.
    That makes us really happy.
