After all of the support from Pakistan for terrorism in Afghanistan, India, and the U.S., it's difficult to see why we should send even more aid to Pakistan.

The article states "So far, the international aid response, apart from American and British contributions, has been next to pathetic." Perhaps it's only the U.S. and the U.K. who are softheaded enough to believe that the Pakistani's, who are bombarded with the propaganda of hate from birth to death, can be redeemed.

This article is a good example. It blames the people of Balochistan for the violence done to them by the Pakistani government and inaccurately tries to portray them as allies of the Taliban. The Balochistani's are trying to separate from the corrupt government of Pakistan, much like Bangladesh did in 1971.

The article also blames India, as is usual for the Pakistani press, saying "India has failed to respond to the crisis." Perhaps the Pakistani's should grow up and learn to be responsible for themselves. India offered aid and the Pakistani's had to be convinced to accept it. If I were India, I might have withdrawn the offer immediately and sent the aid to another more deserving nation instead.

This is the one step India doesn't take, regardless of whatever it takes to stay there. At any given time, there are 1000s of poor Paki patients under treatment here, 1000s of students taking university education, artists earning their living, tourists at any given time here. Millions of innocent people were shut out in Pakistan because of partition (they still have their crying parents/relatives back here). So, in a way, they are our people, they look like us, eat and dress like us, speak our language but think and behave differently. This is the only thing that differentiates us, they can well be good again with some help.

We gave Pakistan the preferred trading partner privilege (within the SAFTA), only Pakistan enjoys the bus and train connection with India, only they enjoy the privilege of paying us in their local currency- not foreign exchange - yes. All these underline what we like for them and probably explains the why part of it.

We are not mute spectators to their outrageous acts. They have taken lessons from us from time to time. It may sound too jingoistic to say they dare not attack us but we are aware they have no hesitation in using proxy methods like refusing genuine humanitarian aids and what they are doing with maligning our name on Kashmir issues. This is what runs in my mind, if god can prevail upon them, they will finally see why they have no option left out but to take our friendship.

God, it's a hopeless case then. There must be humanity left out there. It's not always the quranic diktats that rule. So, I am not sure how many of them go by this. There are quite a few high flying muslim celebrities in India that are pretty democratic and willing to swear by their conscience.

God helps those who help themself. God is great, very kind but also judicious. He does not like or tolerate anti-religion activities in real sense. He does not accept blood shed, killings, war in the name of God or Almighty. When all such wrong and terrorist activities increase in a area , it is this kind of method used by him to wipe out sinners, and those helping, assisting, abaratting sins in the name of religion. Let God save helpless people.

Learn Sahajayoga. Request Mataji Nirmaladevi to save you. She is considered and worshiped as Fatima by muslims. You can get free training and enlightenment in life, which will solve all problems in time to come.

    Two contradicting statements. He heh

Moreover, isn't this a kind of commercial advertisement that you are doing? Come on, we have enough gods here, don't need another one or a mataji. We are comfortable and are capable of helping ourselves.

I think this picture best describes the current condition in flood affected areas. These women are collecting flour from the ground which is left over by relief agencies trucks.
Flour is a primary food item and is used to make bread.
I am afraid the conditions are much worse than what we see on media reports.

Instead of demanding even more aid from the people who weren't dumb enough to accept Islam, why don't you guys get off DP and go out there and help your fellow religionists.

When you belong to a religion which teaches that nothing in this life has any value and that only God matters, it's not surprising that you seldom build anything good in this life.

It seems to me that the rest of the world has grown tired of subsidizing your ignorance.

Verily never will Allah change a condition of a people until they change what is within their souls [Ra'd 13:11]

Are you saying that the flood victims deserve this fate because of their bad souls? :0

Vebtools: That does appear to be exactly what you are stating.

I would argue instead that, if the people of Pakistan had better thoughts in their heads, they would be more well educated and better protected against these unfortunate incidents of nature.

Indians are not anti-Muslim. It is just sad to see how provinces of India that have broken off on grounds of religion are so weak and dysfunctional, when it could have been otherwise, if these provinces had stayed as part of India, together Bharat would have been invincible. It is only a question of time before Pakistan becomes yet another province in the new and disguised and bigger and stronger Anglo-American Empire. Yes you will keep your national anthem and your national flag and your own President, but there won't be much else.... just give it another 20 years and see what the future brings for Pakistan.. sad but true

As Pericles said in 430B.C., "Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you."
