Pakistan Floods Caused Due to Water Release by India

India has released a big amount of water at Jammun Tavi place in River Chenab, sending the areas along river at high risk of being inundated and wiped out.

Many villages have come inundated due to high-flood in River Chenab at Head Marala and Khanki areas on Wednesday morning, Geo news reported.

According to Head Khanki and Head Marala authorities the flow of fierce floodwater mounting at 2,10,000 cusecs is passing by two areas, resulting in turning the river in high-flood.

As many as five villages near Marala in Sialkot, thirteen villages between Head Khanki and Rasool Nagar and a village namely Kala Shadian near Qadirabad have been flooded by incessant overflow of fierce floodwater from River Chenab.
Meanwhile, a mammoth number approximating 70 villages are at stake of being washed out by outflow of floodwater from River Chenab in case the high-flood remains on rise, sources feared.

Just few days back your big brother JUD was saying "Give us water or there will be war" now you got water due to incessant rains which pakistan never experienced in last 80 years, now you have started whinning that india has released water ?

 

Maybe both countries will spend some money on drains and not on Atomic Bombs....

Yeah Pakistan needs water, Pakistani Gov trying their best to take their water from India, which India stopped... But at the time when there was lot of rain and flood in the northern area, which also full filled the water requirement of Pakistan. At the same time when Pakistan's dams were full due to rain water, India released the water (even the whole word know that Pakistan is facing flood).. which effect the whole industry of Pakistan.. all crops finished, thousands of people lost their houses, there are lot of deads, and first time in my life it is announced in my city to leave your houses and go some safe place, because the water released by India cannot be handel and all the places in the water places will be finished.

The flood at the northern area of Pakistan is natural due to rain, But the flood in Punjab, Sindh is due to India.

 

Nothing on the BBC link says that the flood was caused in Pakistan because India released water. I can of course understand Pakistan daily (daily.pk) publishing such a news item, considering the credibility it has. Stop baseless propaganda.

 

i do not think its true its a just pakistani agenda,there is so much rain in pakistan that is why there is flood.

 

Lol reminds me when someone on this forum posted a news story from 'Iran Press TV' that said Israel flooded Gaza by opening a dam... Israel has no dams.

 

so the flood is because of the water release from India and not to due to natural calamity in pakistan - quite an interesting point - may be international scientists should now study this new logic of your media

we did not have any sort of floods in India to release a huge level at a go and India just proved it doesn't store water if it had, we might have not released (India hasn't stopped water but constructed dams for the sake of power generation, the dams on the Indian side doesn't have storage capacity - you can refer r get it referred by the UN diplomats any time if you don't trust India's word, don't depend on your media and your govt. to give you the real facts), so your media is correct if they want to make this an issue, LeH is flooded - just check that story up if you really want to believe this sortta fantasy

Its saddening to see politics been made out of a calamity, instead of helping out the needy and trying to get more donations - these guys r just trying to get benefit out of a nothing and increase their TRP's and viewership ratios.
