Dud, if anyone here is self-loathed, it's you. I've openly admitted many times and been in arguement with believers, that I'm an agnostic and I do not believe in God/Religion.

Calling someone retarded is abuse and insult. They have their faith, we have ours.
Calling names isn't a sign of maturity either, it's a sign of weakness.

Ill humor you though, The people in my family range from jewish, to catholic, agnostic to atheist. My dad is jewish (though to particularly practicing), My mum has no particular religion that i know of but would probably say agnostic if i asked her.

Of course thats one of the reasons. 1)Shoaib is not a politician so I do not expect him to make politically correct statements. 2) His English is not that good so he had very limited choice of words. Whatever he said meant nothing to anyone...

You can argue that it doesn't apply to you (though that would be a tough argument to win) but his usage was correct. He was saying religion delays someone development, Retards their development, Which would make them retarded (ie. held back, proceed slowly, hindered progress)

 

Look, this is hopeless, they will never admit they are still kids in their head, because they need so strongly not to loose that sense of protection.
So stop arguing with believers, they think they have seen the light and atheists haven't. We know it's the contrary, but they're a lost cause, very few of them become atheist or agnostic. And anyway if they do they'll loose something, because having a sense of protection is good, it's just that my mind will never allow me to believe that BS, because that's too late for my brain, that's a training that needs to be done very early to be effective and lasting.
