Beggars in Pak during Ramazan earn more than graduates may do in a year! http://in.news.yahoo.com/139/20080917/874/twl-beggars-in-pak-during-ramazan-earn-m.html During the ongoing month of Ramazan, an average professional beggar in Pakistan is earning Rs 1000 per day, and a family, depending upon the number of 'earning members,' collects Rs 4000-5000 a day. If multiplied by the 30 days of Ramazan, the total income comes out to be around Rs 150,000, which is enough for the rest of the year to meet the family's basic needs. The money earned during the Ramzan acts like fixed capital, even as the day to day expenses during the rest 11 months can be met by daily earnings.
I guess beggars make much more than anybody could ever expect. I think they should start training people on HOW TO MAKE MONEY FASTER THROUGH BEGGING.
You should see the beggers here in Dubai, each of them makes at least a $50 a day and on the first day of eid average is $1000 ( I read an article about it in the newspaper ) Ismail
This can also be taken as Pakistani's, being Muslims give out so much Zakat (charity) that the beggars can meet their needs throughout the year. That's not more than just a different side of the picture - a positive side rather
