    Hi all,

some of you may find this useful, especially if you'd like to create logo, button or icon for your web. RealWorld Paint.COM is an image editor with the following features:

    • layers with effects (like Photoshop's layer styles)
    • scriptable filters (JavaScript)
    • can use Photoshop compatible filters
    • web (sRGB) optimized color blending for smooth edges
    • can be controlled with mouse gestures
    • portable version available
    • community-based translations

Well, not really (in Ps, you cannot use any filter as layer style, you cannot control Photoshop with mouse gestures, you have to understand and actively work with color profiles if you want to get proper color blending, it is not portable, etc.) Ps of course has lots of other features...

And you have to pay for Photoshop, unless you are into pirating...

@rysdesigns: Interesting, I'd love to have a free portable version of Photoshop as much as the next guy, you seem to know where it is, why don't *you* share that with us?

@original poster: congrats, I can't use it here on my computer, but if it des as you say it does that's surely something to be spreading. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks. You are running Linux or Mac or very old Windows? I'd love to support more operating systems, but it would be a lot of work :(

I bet you are using Opera to download. It has a bug that changes .msi to .exe (look it up online). Just rename the .exe to .msi and you'll be fine.
