Pains of adding products to an ecommerce site ***** smart way

I am developing an oscommerce site which will have around 2000 products (vitamins supplement site) is there an easy way of adding pictures and product information i am using easy populate. Also how can i get pictures and product information legally. All ideas are welcome.
