Hmm..the search results are soo un-targeted
It doesnt have many sites in its index and the results take agesss to load as there are soo many ads, could be cos im from Ireland.

yes exactly!there are TONS of ways to catch robots/hackers.
Thats not the problem I got tho, these are them:

    1. AFAIK Google/Yahoo do not allow you to put 3rd party ads around there searches(including there normal searches)

2.They also definitely ban incentive programs.

    3. If I were to make my own search engine from scratch it would have bad search results and I would have more space and more bandwidth to deal with.

Once I find a way to sort these I'll shove it together and put it up :)

    EDIT:

I gotta good question. this search engine http://www.dogpile.com/ are putting google yahoo and ask into 1 search,Did they contact these search engines directly and ask for permission or does this just search on the 3 search engines and remove there ads and organize the results??????

Yes there is some good ones out there, I have a thread going about ask.com paying for searches, I was skeptical at first, but once I looked into I couldn’t find any floors and with one of the major search engines behind it seemed to good not take them up and see how it goes

I'm not sure at 100% but if i find a good program with quality results and not only irrelevant adds i'll do it. So i vote "I would use it if the search results wer good"...

Considering the ammount I use google, If they paid me about 0.1c per search (cpm ads on the right side) and the results were the same as google....Hell yeah i would.
