    Hello,

I have looked at the top websites on Google and they get nearly the same amount from advertisers as they give to their publishers.

How do they make their money?

Lots of their users re-invest there earnings into buying ads, upgrading, and purchasing referrals. The actual payouts to members are quite a bit lower.

There is also alot of people who simply never reach cash out.
For eg.You might have to click 1000 links to get $5.
After clicking a 100 or so you realise that this is a rubbish way to earn online and give up.
While the earnings are still technically yours -but as you never met the min payout - the PPC Website will never have to pay.

I'd go with a get paid to or incentive based site. I think the site "Deal Barbie Pays Fast" is a great example a small niche site that has remained profitable long term due to a great admin and most importantly, incredible payment terms. They pay by Paypal three times a week for 100% free paid to signup offers and with a low $5 payment minimum. Although the site is small and isn't glamerous, they have grown a lot and it's clear that a lot of affiliate traffic goes through this site. Sometimes less can be more and that's what I think this site really shows. It's my favorite gpt : )

In my opinion, PTC is not the way to go... They just aren't very profitable unless you're able to innovate and command the market share of the whole industry. Of course, with the right ideas this is possible; the PTC industry is stale with a few exceptions (for example, NeoBux is currently stirring up the industry). Revolutionize it, and you're golden : )
