There should be an option to buy paid stickies for threads in the marketplace for a certain period of time. Is this being considered at all?

With the change in the rules on no duplicate threads, and threads not being bumped with any replies, means sales threads stop receiving views/activity as soon as they fall from the first couple of pages. The only option that has been offered to me is "to put a link to it in a signature," but that's not really being effective at all.

I think a viable option would be to implement a system where we could pay to stick our sales thread to the top for a specified amount of days. After it expires it will go back to its previous position. This would be very profitable for DigitalPoint and I don't see why it's not being offered. Most of my business came from DigitalPoint, but that dropped sharply with the new rules. With paid stickies it could benefit both my business and DigitalPoint.

Has this been brought up to the owner? I included a poll for those of you that would be interested in this option too.

I very much agree with this and would probably buy a sticky or two. ;)

Right, but you can only create the thread once, and after the 2 hours is over with, there's no chance of it reaching the front page again. For example, my thread in the Services forum is 3 months old. I'd like to give it a boost again, and have it shown on the front page for a short amount of time.

There should be an option for those of us who have a thread about our service (non-auction) that we want to promote our threads after they become old and lose their viewers.

It wouldn't have to necessarily be a sticky, just operate the same way the Premium member WTS threads stay at the top for a short period.

I'd definitely like to see a set term sticky for the BST. It's more revenue for DigitalPoint, and in turn, it brings the boom back to the marketplace!

maybe that is why you keep adding/hiding a link at the end of some of your posts where you say "regards" ?

It's been suggested and rejected many times before. Please search first. There is already a similar option -- premium members get added attention / better placement for their threads (and again near the end time of their offer to give it a boost). Details can be found at the link below:
