Hi everyone, just wondering if any of you uses services for providing back-links, G+/Facebook likes, StumbleUpon/Pinterest shares, YouTube views etc. I've seen a lot of such services on Fiverr - some claim to use professional social marketing tools (subscription based, probably), some have a lot of followers on their sites and some use some questionable trickery (bots or whatever). I'm thinking about buying such a service to see if there will be any benefits. Paying $5, $10 or even a bit more doesn't seem much for getting 500 back-links on high PR sites or getting some likes/views from real accounts. However, I'm not sure, if this would be interpreted as "fishy" from Google. Could too many back-links or views be seen as unusual in only a couple of days? Does any of you have any experience with this? Thanks and Happy Holidays!
I run a blog network that is stocked by guest posts. Many of these guest post providers do Facebook likes and Twitter blasts for their posts on my blogs. I notice an uptick in search engine traffic when they do this. Not dramatic but noticeable. The key is to think LONG-TERM
I have no sufficient experience in buying Facebook likes etc, but I can tell you that you can reach your target audience that way too.
Thanks for your replies. Maybe the social media likes and shares are not as problematic, if they come from real accounts, but what about backlinks? If they are put on "baclinks only" forums, could this have a negative effect on page ranking or search results?
Not always. As I understand, some services use automated systems, which create links much faster, than humans would, and this could be interpreted as "spam" by Google.
