hi, i know google have new feature (they want to improve their algorythm to detect paid links), what I want to ask is: if google found our paid links, what will they do? just cut our website link to that website or our rank in SERP will be lower than ever?

Nothing yet I'm thinking. It seems they still need to determine what exactly 'devalue' means, and how to do it properly

I think: our rank in SERP will be lower than ever.
But not the page rank and you can continue making money because people buy for the page rank not for traffic.

I would think they probaly just wont count as a link, and at some point might damage ranking..

I saw some pretty low price paid link arrange in the tag cloud format? Do you think such links are valuable? The whole site contains only single paid with link cloud. One thing I am curious are, they have high PR rank.

I would hold out on the paid links until we know what is going on with them.
At last expensive ones, or lifetime links.

It is very possible, if they do come up with something, there will be no warning and it will happen at an update, and everyone will be like WTF?
They have been sending up warning signs now for some time, and if anyone can come up with the math on this one...it is them.

Algorithms are their billion dollar business.
Eventually, paid links will be talked about in the past tense.
Paid directories, is another thing.(or it may be the same, but then what about Yahoo?)

    They have a snitch program.
Believe me, you better watch your competition.
If you have the budget to buy links and you are kicking their ass, and they can't compete on the SEO because of it, I'd bet every dollar I have they will snitch you out, or at least the site that you paid for the links from.
It's going to get very interesting.

Between the snitch program, and taking that info, and their own mathematical brilliance, they will figure something out.
