Hi everyone, I am looking for a developer to help me build an entertainment portal. Some sample entertainment portals that I've seen and like are http://www.asianpopcorn.com/ and http://ent.sinchew-i.com/ Hopefully the end product would be something similar. For design wise, the portal will be built on top of my existing vbulletin-powered forums here - http://e-asia.tv/forums/ so the design should match it. The logos and colours will be the same so there's not much design to do i believe. Only the layout and installation/customisation of modules. Some functionality that i will require: 1) Video upload/conversion: The idea is to allow members to upload avi, mpeg videos and the system convert them into FLV files. Basically a you-tube kind of site. I believe there are existing modules in joomla to do that. (Correct me if i'm wrong). 2) Social media features: In addition to the flash video modules, I would like the members to be able to rate/comment/share the videos like what youtube does. Smiley 3) Gallery: My forum currently has a gallery mod installed (Photoplog.com) and I would like the pictures, comments, to be integrated with Joomla. You can check out the gallery here: http://e-asia.tv/forums/photoplog/index.php Ideally, members can choose to upload the pictures from the forums or joomla and browse the gallery from either places.
