Hopefully this is the correct forum. XD
I recently bought hosting for my site, and COULD NOT get access to it not even now. Paid nearly $10 and asking for a refund now, he says its non refundable. Its a one man business, on his site he says he has 24/7 support, which isn't true. I don't know what to do, he never responds to my emails, the client area sumbitticket.php does not lead to anywhere but a blank page. (obvious isn't it?) This is getting on my nerves, i dont really know what to do about this situation. Appreciate any help.

If you paid with a credit card, you could do a chargeback. For $10, I would just find a better host and not waste any more time with it.

you might struggle with a refund from Paypal since you purchased a virtual service. If $10 isn't a lot to you, I'd try to forget it and move on.

It's not pleasant being ripped off, but sometimes it's easier just to walk away. His hosting business won't last long with that attitude.

Not replying to emails, and not having a working support ticket system (or some sort of support system) is dumb. Even if it costs more, go with a reputable host you have at least heard of, and preferably someone who has been recommended to you. Don't base your decision only on price or you will always be disappointed. While expensive hosting isn't a guarantee that it will be good, cheap hosting can never be excellent.

IF he's from the UK he's bound by law to give you a refund.

If he's not, well, you're not looking too good. It's $10. If you paid with your credit card throug PayPal you can still issue a chargeback. Just go to webhostingtalk.com and post a bad review about him.

Lol you guys are hilarious and don't know how PP works. He won't get his money back. Virtual services are not buyer protected.

If you are considering disputing it with PP I suggest you forget about it; Especially if you paid as a 'service."

PP loves to take money and run! I speak from first hand experience.

Just take it as a lesson, and move on.

    Good Luck!!!

Now that you know you had a terrible experience with this host, you may want to post a bad review on them in many hosting reviews site. Get them listed in the hall of shame, you did a good job of enlightening us here.

Dude, get your money back from H9, they're horrible. Take the money back guarantee, and find yourself someone else. I've actually used them before. After they get you locked in outside of the money back guarantee time, they will become extremely rude in their support/billing/sales.
