Hello! I'd like to ask you if buying a paid blog review is a good method to promote a site and if you ever tried it.... If so, can you suggest me a couple of blogs where should I buy a good review which will bring me traffic? I don't even know how one does usually get paid for a review so can you tell me approximately how much does it cost? Than for your help! Good bye!
Because it is your site, you are asking a question that we have no answer to. It also depends on how many read the blog, how much it is, how long the review stays up... I know of one site that gets close to 250,000 hits a month, but he charges $500. I'm not going to say which blog this is because in my opinion it is a clear rip off. Others know which blog I am talking about. A webmaster cannot possibly get his money back. Not even close.
It really depends on you, i charge at $40 per review but i still chose on what i want to review and it does not guarantee you lots of traffic but at least you pay valuable money to get a review worthy than buying links that dont talk or give you honest opinions.
I know which blog are you speaking about.. and I would never spend 500$ for a review, even if I had them But anyone having a personal experience?
A paid review will help you get into the search engines and can be very effective at helping you improve your SERPs, but I think the benefits from traffic are dubious at best. There are plenty of people who will do reviews for $5 to $10 on Google PR 3 sites, but they don't push the traffic much at all.
i never bought reviews, but i do some. i found some positive aspects about paid reviews for me has the review publisher. i received good traffic from search engines to some of my reviews
For a new site, I think paying for blog reviews can be beneficial. It depends on what you're after though. Traffic is harder to come by and is more expensive. I've bought several PR4 and better blog reviews though for a few dollars that may add up over time. Anyway, I think it's definitely viable if you have realistic expectations. If you look in the link selling forum, you can get an idea of what people are asking for various topics/PRs, etc.
I'm still trying to decide if a paid review is worth it and how much I can spend for it... However, thank you all for giving me your opinion
First find how many hits that site gets. Either ask to see their log, or go to compete.com to see a rough reading. Next, break the numbers down to see if it is worth it to you: It depends on how many go to your site after reading the review, but is is safe to assume not many will. On top of that, not many will read the review, period. How many will? Who knows. You have to put it in to find out. But I think a good guesstimate is that less than 10% of that blog's visitors will. And, of the ones who do go to your site, 1-3% will buy. Now, take those numbers and compare it to how much he charges. If you have, say, a $20 product, and he charges $60 for a review, you will need 3 sales to get your money back. Do the math, and there's your answer. If he charges hundreds of dollars, you will, obviously, lose your internet shirt.
Well, in my experience, they have not worked. We paid a lot of money for a review by Tyler Cruz, and he was a real jerk. The review was Ok, but what happened afterwards really was not good at all. Basically, he let people comment (blatant lies!) and did nothing about the lies - he didn't even let us post refuting comments! So, I tend not to like paid blog reviews. But that's maybe just because of the sour experience I had.
Not worth it, I have done hundreds of them in trials, all of the low cost websites are almost invisible to google and you very rarely get and search engine credit, and no actual click traffic.
I am tempted to buy a review on one of the big sites but am not sure if it would be worth it. I think it would if the audience is properly targeted.
Have you guyz tried www.BuyBlogReviews.com ? well we have over 2800 blogs to buy reviews on. You can set your own budget for your reviews. But we all know you get what you pay for. We have a huge marketplace, you can check the blog ranking in terms of Technorati, Alexa, Backlinks and PR and then decide the blog to go for. Results are guaranteed. But you have to plan and then execute your marketing campaign in order to get the maximum ROI. For example, buying one or two reviews wont do any good for you unless you plan well.
wouldnt get promoted this way..we all noe google is penalizing paid blogging publishers, they'll probably be looking to penalize advertisers as well..ill stay away if i was u,,besides i think ppc is the best method to advertise, as u really get ur money's worth
Well you can keep on saying that and keep wasting your money on PPC...while others buy reviews and text links and achieve high ranking on SEs and make money
Paid reviews are a great way to get good contextual links for your site and a strategy that I often use.
