Paid backlinks?

I've been working hard to put good content on my website, and while a few people have noticed and linked to me, I have pitifully few links back to my site. So recently I starting searching for blogs related to my niche and posting comments with backlinks in the website field that most blogs have, but it just takes so much time.. I don't want to spam the internet with links back to my website, so I'm not looking to pay for some automated comment posting robot, but I was wondering if there are any services out there that (will for a fee) post relevant comments on blogs with backlinks?

There are SEO companies, who offer services, such as that. But I suggest you just do it yourself, just be patient. Search for relevant and quality blogs then post interesting comments.

There are several websites that provide paid back-links. I have used one such site Balk's backlinks. They provide a complete report of all the comments and are quite affordable as well.

What are paid backlinks? Incoming links, to your site, are what all of the search engines use as a criteria to define whether your website is worth listing high in their results or not. So, in very basic terms, if you have a lot of backlinks, you will be ranked highly with the search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc).

I took a look at balksbacklinks.com, but it looks like it's either a scam or some automated service (which I consider to be spam).

    Their site says,

There's no way that "real people" would be willing to post 10k blog comments for $20 bucks. That's absurd.

I was hoping to find a service with real people who would post blog comments that are actually relevant, with links back to my site..

Of course there are loads of companies out there which are offering manual blog commenting (Which is the service your looking for), but many of them will still use automated blog commenting software (Like scrapebox), you just need to find a good provider, check the services section on this forum :)

Yes, unfortunately there are companies that will plaster links to your site all over the internet for exorbitant fees. The trick is to find an SEO company that also doubles as a creative agency, so that you can rely on them to actually add value to the conversations in which they participate (for you). Posting links that don't add value is a short term strategy at best.

Back links are so important but it's such a exploitable metric to rank the quality of a site on :(

If you want relevant backlinks then I wouldn't bother with blog comments. Instead i would do Press Release submissions, sites in your niche will automatically grab your press release and post it on their sites. These links are much more powerful and easier to do instead of commenting.

If you own only one or two sites, then it isn't that difficult to get a few backlinks each day. However if you own 10 or more, this would be very time consuming. As long as the service is legit, it is perfectly fine.

    Best of luck,

    Justin

It really depends. If you have time, then you can make your own backlinks. If you don't have much time on your hand, then you might want someone to do them for you.
