I set up a bidvertiser campaign.
I spent about $5, and made about $4.14 from adsense.

What's strange was, no one bought my actual product.

There were 200,000 impressions and only 88 clicks.

Is this something I should puruse? Any advice?

    My site is: http://www.100instantly.com

Traffic stats do not look good to me. 200,000 impressions but only 88 clicks. The CTR is too low. Perhaps you want to set a max budget to try out. If it doesn't work out, then move on.

GoClick works well for me and is much cheaper than Adwords.

Yeah, those stats aren't good...test something new.

GoClick - that traffic actually converts for you? Are you doing just adsense, or are you selling affiliate products as well?

Why is the stats bad? As long as you pay little per good, it's good right? Who cares about CTR?

you need to be running with 100 plus keywords. analyse the click through rate and delete all below 4%. keep adding key words and then keep deleting the poorly performing ones.

you should then end up with 20 or so of your top performers so at least you know your budget is working for you.

you should also do the same with 10 -15 ad variations and get dow to 2 or 3 that are producing a healty CTR

Is anyone doing adsense and adwords at the same time?
I'm wondering if there are any statistics about the conversion rate here.
