Hello experts, I am looking for a suggestion, which will be the best as per the SEO point of view "Pagination" or "Infinite Scrolling".
Not an expert, do not know how either way impacts SEO, but I've always been against infinite scrolling. There's a reason why most well known e-commerce sites use pagination. It creates order and clarity.
I'd say infinite scrolling is ok for a "small amount" of images, products, etc. Infinite scrolling is mobile friendly but if you got hundreds of elements, it gets boring and you should use pagination.
I've always been more inclined to search with infinite scrolling myself, but I agree that it only fits for a small amount of content. Having a good search and suggestions engine solves any problem anyway
I do not know where Google ranking is concerned but I abandon pages PDQ that scroll on and on. I want more structure where I can immediately click the link in which I am interested and get where I am going.
Scrolling can be a nice feature if the content is not too much. But suppose you have to refresh the page again and you are the user and now you have to scroll through it all again. It's not a very good solution.
Consider your user and your product. Instagram/Twitter - yep, infinite scrolling is the way to go. Physical goods - give me paging I reckon the bigger challenge is getting a meaningful filter tool working.
Yes.....I accept that its a good way but does it beneficial in SEO. Because I don't have a social media website
