Pageviews Decreased

    Hi,

    I am handling 2 very big news sites and getting more than 300000 Unique Visitors on Daily Basis. But suddenly my site page views decreased without decreasing unique visitors. it is happening since September 15 2013.

    Please help me to find the solution of this problem.

    Hey check your Google Webmasters Tools account. if you got any message from Google
    If you hit by hummingbird 2.1 just remove unwanted links which are targeting your home page also check your back-links if you got any unwanted back-links form other sites

    Yes, checking GW is a good way to investigate the source of the problem! But, also try checking with any good Backlink checking tool to see your NEWLY created (on 15 SEPT!) backlinks that could be the source of this problem! ;)

    You probably posted in the wrong forum.

    But anyway
    Generally speaking, your news or site might have become so good that the visitors are finding exactly what they want and don't need to browse as many pages as before, or that your news or the site itself has become worse (for whatever reason) and they are not liking it and hence viewing less pages, or maybe there aren't as many interesting news happening at the moment and people are reading/viewing less.
