Pages with similar URL's & Page Titles

    I have recently added a new section to my website that offers advice about the products. A few days after adding the new section of rankings fell quite considerably:

    I cannot think why this may have happened simply by adding a few non-dynamic pages with original content.

    My only thought is that now I have product pages and advice pages with similar Page Titles & URL. For example:

    Combination Padlocks Products
    Title: Combination Padlocks
    URL: http://www.nothingbutpadlocks.com/index.php/categories/view/combination-padlocks

    Combination Padlocks Advice Page
    Title: Combination Padlocks
    URL: http://www.nothingbutpadlocks.com/index.php/combination-padlocks

    Does anyone think that by having two totally different pages that have similar URL's and titles would cause problems?

    What other changes did you make? How are you linking to the new pages?

    No. Try to keep different titles for different pages

    The addition of the new pages was about all. I did add a tiny bit of code to make a price preview appear on some pages. For example on this URL you can see it says "From: £5.45" near the first product.

    Apart from that no other amendments were made.
