When I do a site:www.mydomain.com (not the actual domain in question obviously) I get 10,000 pages returning...when I run it through the API using Digital Point I only get about 1700 pages indexed... ..now I know I have more then 1700 pages on my site in reality, but I also know I would fall short of 10000 - why are these 2 returning different results? The site (and all pages) has been around for 5 months. Another site of mine which has been around for a few months longer has a similar difference, but the API is returning a more realistic amount. Is it just a matter of time for the API to "catch up"? I want more co-op weight
I get much smaller numbers with the API too. I'm not sure why this is. I hope it does catch up, because I would get some nice weight in the coop
Do you have dynamic pages/options on the site? I have one page that does some magic stuff depending on some GET parameters. It links to itself several different places, so you click on it and it displays differently. I didn't pay attention when I checked google this morning, but yahoo has that page listed 6 times. Nothing from the rest of the site, which is annoying, though. <shrug>
