    Hi Shawn;

    in your KW tools, there is a column that named "Pages In URL".

    Today, a Turkish visitor asked me that "whats that mean?" and i couldnt answer it. So, whats the mean in google?

    Thanks

    I means how many pages of your website are found by Google.

    I have a website of 100 pages. Some however are only accessibly when people login, so Google his index only found like 20. Thats my pages in URL.

    And if you enter yourdomain.com/index.html you get just 1 result (if indexed). You can also enter a folder /catalog/ or the entire domain.

    Hi Turkish man we have friends who have a beautiful house on a beautiful coast there which is now for sale:

    Mediterranean Homes

    Anyhow to explain "Pages In URL"

    The search for:

    site:www.xxxxxxxx.com

    in Google [where the xxxx is your domain and the .com is whatever it is eg .co.uk]

    will give you the same number as that shown by Shawn and the KWT - it means those pages that google has "seen" and are on the Google engine

    Actually I get different numbers from the KW tracker then from directly in Google. KW tracker shows 388 but Google site: shows 444. I know Shawn has said that pages in URL only updates when the BL's are updated but BL's have been updated and shows the same as Google. So I would have thought they would have matched. At least for now. No biggie though, just odd.

    This morning when doing a check on G for the big experiment I got a difference of 186 [that is a loss of 186] but when caryl checked later it was back to the original - so a difference of 56 is not huge :)

    Keep forgeting about #10 :) Maybe the wrong place to ask but out of curiosity, which number does Ad Network use when computing weight? That's probably been answered already too. :)

    PS: But I bet you got a lot more then 444 pages Foxy. :)

    The ad network uses the API number... but since it's skewed for everyone, it evens out.
