"Pages in URL"

    I'm wodnering how this number is determined. is this done via the "site:URL" command in G?

    if so, what accounts for the difference in numbers?

    in the tracker, www.aaascreensavers.com shows: ~8500 pages.

    via G: http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.aaascreensavers.com&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 shows: ~37,000.

    what am I missing here?

    I should have read the FAQ! :( that is odd indeed that the API does that. interesting indeed - I shall find why.
