I notice that my internal pages that were dropped from the index after the BigDaddy thingy majingy are back in the index and those pages are showing PageRank again. Anyone know if Google has actually been reindexing all those dropped pages or have they simply reverted to and older database again?
Hmmm... Seems like its difficult to pull anybody away from the Billion pages Spam thread. Read a few other posts on this topic as others seem to be experiencing what i noticed. But nobody seems to be discussing if its has simply reverted to an older database or if this re-indexing is legitimate. At least in my quick scan of those threads.
Not sure about reindexed completely but a lot of my pages have came back. I couldn't speculate as to if they actually went to an older db or not. Mill
In my case its definately re-indexing, I changed the format of my forum pages after they all dropped in BD to make the titles more unique.. so I can see its the new pages appearing. Google has been on my site constantly now for 3 days (multiple connections) and seems to be reindexing the whole thing. Today is the first day the new pages have started to show on Google... im guessing within a few more days the whole site will be showing again.
lol not sure about bigdaddy but I have seen a few pages of godaddy being re-indexing. Just had to pick on you.
axemedia ... this is old news ... members have being discussing this for months in this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=86819
it actually looks like a pretty recent resurfacing of a lot of dropped pages for me. as in the past few days.
