Can someone please just give a brief summary of what PR is and how to find what PR a site is?

 

download the google toolbar and it displays the PR of every page you visit
pr is just a placement of value that google thinks your site has by the number of back links to it.

the more green you see the better. it goes from 0 to 10. just like rep blobs, the more green you see, the better
see white and no green then the page is indexed but has no pr
see gray and it means the page is either to new so not indexed, or been banned from google
