    Google dropped my homepage pr but the other pages stayed the same. What's up with that? Ever had this happen?

    You should not worry about this unless your site has lost it's placement in the serps,
    how is your rankings in the serps?

    If this is a penalty for selling text links (DoFollow) then your domain PR will drop to 0
    But i believe your website SERP's will remain the same as long as your backlinks stays still ;)

    one of my sites homepage PR and rankings both dropped .... but inner pages pr remained still.

    few keywords which my site used to rank in top 10 ... now dropped to 50's and 60's ...this update was ugly for my sites :(

    Don't worry about PR, worry about rankings if you can...if your rankings are fine, everything is fine.

    I think this is because Google might be updating the backlinks, I hope the Page rank update is nearer.

    Just wait the major update at the first of april. And yeah, doesn't matter as long as you didn't lose any serps

    when there occurs a lot spamming then Google may ban Website.
    Or if Google think that website is not relevant then also it may ban website or can drop PR of website.

    pr is a 'quick' way of determining how well google regards your site. ignore it at your peril.

    Besides how will google know if you're doing paid post or just linking to another site because you're featuring them?
