It's all about traffic. Traffic is what makes you money. Page rank is normally related to traffic. If you're ranked number 1 for a good keyword, then you will get a lot of quality traffic. You can't really separate the two elements. But if you can get massive traffic with a poor page rank, then it doesn't matter. Traffic is what counts.
I would take the second site, of course. Traffic is the name of the game, after all (that is where the real value is).
I feel that for a site traffic is more important as it generates revenue, but for people who are planning to have their domain sold later, can go for page rank. Regards, Sonarish
Well, if you ask me to choose in between PR2@30traffic/day and PR0@1000traffic/day, i will choose PR0@1000traffic/day since PR2 is nothing actually. However, if you make it to PR5@30traffic/day and PR0@1000traffic/day, i will choose PR5@30traffic/day. Building quality backlink is harder than get traffic
In my case page rank is important because I do link building jobs, and when I ask for an exchange always people ask about the page rank of my site, because generally page rank means traffic.. most of the times, not always
I would rather have traffic. People want PR to sell links. But traffic makes money and in the long run not selling links will lead to PR. Selling links your PR will go down.
What you are saying here is actually true. In fact, I'm as confused as yourself to why people placed so much importance on page rank alone. Maybe to some, they look only on short term gains to sell links and earn from it.
