I can't agree more with 'mikey1090' you might need to analyze your backlinks to make sure they are still linking to you and those linking pages still have a good PR ;)

I have seen a pattern with my own sites which now leads me to believe that regular added content will influence my pr, heres what ive seen of my sites.

Regularly updated, fair amount of content = some sort of pr increase or stayed the same.

Less updated, lacking in content = PR reduction.

    Regardless of link building.

Depends on quality of links with there PR'S, and there domain age plays KEY factor. Build quality links rather then quantity, I jumped from PR0-PR4 when Google updated there PR recently by building "Quality".

My site "Yeast money" went from Pr0 to Pr4 in this past update. I just started it 1 month ago.

The question is how does Pr help me any and is it amazing that it jumped so high on the first time? I only have like 180+ backlinks.

I do not notice any change in SEO visits.

Good job, that is a pretty impressive jump in such a short timespan.

Keep in mind that you could have all the pagerank in the world, but you're not going to get any traffic unless your page is optimized for keywords that people are actually searching for.

The pagerank displayed in Google is delayed, so if you did get any boost in rankings/traffic, you probably have already seen the effects.

Pagerank by itself doesn't mean all that much, but the nice thing about it is that it should make it easier for you to acquire even more links via link exchanges and the like.

    Wau really good
I was amazed when I saw 2 new websites jumping from PR0 to PR2 but your increase is much higher
Now pagerank don't mean visits of your page, this means backlinks. So now you can continue developing your SEO to certain keywords (if you don't did it already) and get high number of traffic

dude I hate to rain on your parade but I wouldn't get too excited, I dont think your site has the linkstrength required for PR4.

I would expect a correction next time round if not in a week or two.

Since pr will be updated around 4 times per year, so please wait for a few updates, and if it's pr4 then, that means your site got quality backlinks. My site went from pr1 to pr4, and then it dropped to pr3, pr2, pr1 and pr0 for the last update. Maybe it's easy to get a pr boost in one time, but it's difficult to keep your site at a higher pr value.
