    yeah i dont care about PR too!! but most of my sites have increase in PR. just noticed it after seeing this post lolz

    One site has gone to PR3 and two websites to PR2 from PR0 so I must be doing something right dont ask what

    no one know how many backlink you required to get pr1+. It depends on the quality of the backlink. I've seen many website that has thousands of backlinks but still at pr0 ...

    at the same time, I've seen a website got pr4 just from 1 pr5 backlink.. of course, it because the pr5 backlink is .edu domain and the content is related.

    Just finished checking one of my main sites, homepage went from pr6 to pr7 and first level inner pages are now all pr 6 and it's even better almost everypage on my site got a pr boost as I have only 18 pages that don't have any pr I contribute this to my awesome internal linking structure, my other semi big site went from pr 5 to pr 3 though :( but whatever PR is only important to webmasters and not the people who visit the sites Neat day though.

    care to elaborate on your "awesome internal linking structure"? or are you keeping it a secret?:)

    I'm a little mystified by how internal linking affects PR since my main page now has a PR of 2 while an internal page with no backlinks from other sites has a PR3. I started another thread on the topic if you're interested.

    His name is synonymous with Google, he's basically the figurehead or 'mascot' (if you will) of Google. The guy's pretty down to earth as well, I take it that he probably makes atleast a 6 figure income..but I digress.

    Like most other (it seems), 5 out of my 6 sites saw an increase in homepage PR (4 to 5; 4 to 5; 3 to 4; 2 to 3; 0 to 2); and one plummeted (3 to 0).

    I suppose that PR is relative -- I would anticipate some SERP benefit if my PR goes up relative to my competitors. However, if EVERYBODY sees an increase in PR (which seems to be generally the case), then we're all more-or-less in the same relative positions as before...
