    an easy way to answer your own question here is to just go to any webmaster forum and look and see if there are a boat load of post about it already. PR threads are annoying enough, fake ones are worse...

    Question for all: why are folks still so worried about PR? It has been proven time and time again that PR really doesn't matter. I've had sites rank consistently on the first page of Google for my targeted keyword phrases while having a PR0. What can be done to correct the misinformation still out there that says PR matters?

    Nothing can be done. Their goal is to sell links so they want to increase their PR. Somebody told them they could get rich selling links on DP so that's all their focused on. lol

    Yes, here is also not any change in the page rank of my websites. I think you should have to check your websites for on-page optimization. I think this is a change due to yourself. you can check any error of your site's URL in SEO site check up site.

    Because websites with higher PR have higher value when you want to sell them, and I believe that's the goal of ppl who keep talking about PR change.

    On the other hand, imagine you experienced your first drop/sandbox... you would turn to forums to ask what happened.

    yes the sites are more valuable if you care about PR but these people are wanting to sell links, thats why they ask. When I buy a site I'm looking fro traffic and earnings, not PR...

    OP didn't ask about being sandboxed or dropped, he asked if there was a PR update... Which he could have looked around and answered his own question rather than be the 10 millionth person to start a false PR update thread...
