I've had several blogs go through a page rank change this month but they weren't all on July 20th. I use pagerankalert.com and they send me an e-mail alert every time one of my sites has a change. It looks like Google is doing page rank changes every day on a pretty random basis if you ask me. I don't think there is a page rank "day" like there used to be.
no PR change here yet, hope this is just some cruel joke that Google is already done with recent update in the past week
No pagerank change for me. My Google backlinks have changed a lot over the past week though. Hopefully this will be a good update as I have done a lot of link building via dofollow commenting.
No. The PR update just sort of blows in out of nowhere. The closest thing to announcement ever was when Matt Cutts gave a rough time frame of every three months.
turns out there has not been any confirmed PR update yet in July. Last update was April 02 (over 3 and a half months ago) you can see at: http://googlepagerankupdate.com/ so this means chances are there will be an update very soon, probably before end of July or early August. Just a little behind usual schedule this time for some reason, guess Google is busy making other changes with their company, but they will get to the next PR update soon most likely
It doesn't mean it won't go higher in the next batch, I established high pr backlinks to my site over a few months ago and still don't have a pagerank. So who knows.
It should have been in early July so they are bit behind schedule, I wonder if their knew algorithm has anything to do with that
I have got more than 300 sites indexed by Google and there had only been one change in recent days when a PR4 site went up to PR5. I have never seen Google do a PR update in the middle of the month. My hunch is that it will take place over the next 2 weeks. If not, then we are in new territory.
Because toolbar PageRank doesn't really matter much to Google. They know the current, live PR of any domain. The main reason they publish PR at all is to manufacture a sense of transparency.
