As an engineer I can tell you that monitoring link building strategies is an enormous undertaking and extremely difficult, and the payoff is not worth the effort - spammers can be identified and dropped down the serps much more easily by other methods. I'm pretty sure some sites getting PR0 every now and then is something quite mundane, i.e. the site got added from a database for new arrivals to a more permanent one, or the domain's status was changed, etc. This is common practice when handling databases with huge volumes of items, you don't just stick new stuff in right away one by one, you feed it in by batches. But tell me more about this: Where can I find more info about that? Any blog posts? Or is it your own experience? I haven't been paying much attention to Google/PR lately.
i think its going to be major update and my another site down PR3->> PR2 . Ck ur backlinks . Google updated all backlinks.
I dont go on PR its the amount of visitors to my sites that earns me my revenue,PR does not have the Kudos it once had,its all right if you are either selling a site you can command more money for a higher PR site i accept that and also if you sell some links but you can also get punished for selling links these days. I still prefer visitors anyday.
So far I have not seen any pr change in my two site.. may be they will make a big update within two days it seems they are doing it manually
ya...i didn't notice any change in my 250+ sites and blogs...but i think this the indication of massive PR update in Aug 2010. I think they have started crawling and that's why some sites are experiencing PR change. And I think it will be within next 15 days or so. Whatever congrats those who has got PR or PR increased and sorry for those who lost or experienced downturn in PR of their sites. Thanks bd90
I have not notices any changes in PR of my websites and blogs. Hope to see something nice in the next month.
I would just love it. People would forget to put more emphasis on PR. Life would become so much easier.
