    It was 2, and then decreased to 0. After complaining, one day I found it became 4 accidentally. Today as I read the thread, I checked again, and it is 3 now!

    The above amusing change happened in not more than one month. But, I have been working hard to write original articles every day, though my IPB powered forums have a problem with spams.

    I think google has its reason, but efforts will be paid off.

    I don't see the meaning of paying 300$ every year for the Yahoo Directory. Only for 1 point of PR? Also, the mother of all search engines is Google, so being on top of Yahoo SERP is nearly useless. As for most of the people here, my websites got 1 up in PR and lost it again with the new update. However, all the websites are better in Google SERP than some months ago, and that's clearly not because of the PR!!

    How long does it take for new sites to get pr0 to pr1? Do they have a "sandbox" for new sites(about less than 6 months old)?

    there was another PR update yesterday. but I was not effected. all of my sites remained the same PR as they were the update before, however all of my sites did gain PR in the original update. I don't know what Google is up too, but I like it :)

    I just wish my actively maintained sites had as much going on in the PR department as my old, dead blog. Hardly anything happens on the active sites, but the dead blog goes from PR0 to PR1 to PR2, back to PR0 and now to PR1 again. All with no SEO and no posts in a year and a half.

    The current explanation I'm hearing is that Google did the rapid-fire update to correct an issue where Twitter was getting PR0.

    Dear people who keep screaming PageRank doesn't count: why would Twitter's PR deserve a quick fix like a second major update in three weeks? Oh, yeah, because PageRank matters.

    it is very bad for my website that today i have checked that My website home Page rank drop -1 . before Google tool bar was show it 4 now it is show 3 PR.
    but other internal page PR is same. only home page PR drop.

    from last month my website pages continue de indexing by Google i have around 2.5 m
    pages but first Google index around 13 lac pages index after it Google start de index pages now it drop 4 lac pages. i am worry about it please suggest me what happening with my website.
