Pagerank sharing with cgi variables

How does Google identify a page for pagerank purposes?

For example, if a page has cgi variables that don't change the content of that page, do all links to that page (regardless of cgi value) give pagerank to that same entity? or is each cgi value treated as a seperate page?

Two seperate page ranked pages, or the same page?: domain.com/something.php?abc=1 domain.com/something.php?abc=2

Do these rules hold true if the page does change? Or does it depend on certain attributes (like description tags and title).

    Thanks

They look at the url, if the url is different then the page is different.

Sometimes if the page has a session ID they can remove it but not often.
