Hello, Check out this PR4 site www. herbal-medication. com. It has no backlinks as shown by google by link operator link:http://www. herbal-medication. com How can it have PR of 4. Its age is also only 1 year.
Referrer spam, blog spam.. both are typically discluded from google's site: request while still more likely than not being counted toward total page rank.
Check this it has almost of 4160 uncounted backlinks where spiders crawls it.. n thats the way the PR is passed
I have a site that received a PR4, the domain is only a few months old, has over 3,000 backlinks. However, whenever you check Google's backlinks, it shows zero...but trust me, they know they are there.
PR is not all about backlinks and as some members aleady indicated, Google does not show all the backlinks they know
Wow, I never thought of checking for backlinks on google like that. Now I can actually see which backlinks google is crawling.
Is a PR4 or higher is enough to get more traffic. I think reaching the top 10 result for a highly competiting keyword is a nightmare for small web sites. Waiting for top result is a waste of time. We have to look for other kind of online marketting as well.
Bizaway.. i think you are misguided.. do you know its easier to get top 10 rankings for mini/micro sites than other large sites.. and yeah to some extent PR does help to get into SERPs which helps to get more traffic
PR is not directly related to SERP. I think you are misguided also. I beginning to believe GeorgeB. on his statement
maybe many SEOOOOO doing this by bots.... by reading many websites : it is really possible to get "domain name term" from about more than 3000 sites .... and possible to get PR4 easily and you do not need any back links yes it is possible, you may call it is maybe Google's secret my own PR prediction tool: http://link.ezer.com/ also shows it has PR4 any way... PR is really only for fun .... BUT try to think about : traffic might be more important than PR
If PR is not so imp. in SERPs why ppl buy PR links? I think PR does gives bit of weight on SERPs and site's indexing
