Pagerank question

I have a website with absolutely no backlinks on it, no meta tags or anything of the sort.. just a simple proxy site which is on Google. I checked the PR and it is PR 2. But I have another site with some actual backlinks to it and it has a PR of 0. Can someone explain to me how this is possible? Thanks

 

should both site contain the same back links, as may be diff. of content and quality bet 2 site

 

The content is almost exactly the same. The only difference is that one runs a Phproxy script and the other runs a Zelune proxy script.

 

If you are talking about those in your signature then it is showing PR0 and PR1 respectively in toolbar PR. The latter is having a better PR may be because of the domain age.

 

I checked the URL bothe are blocked . Give your site URL let me verify both

 

Blocked? That is your ISPs problem In that case, how will you verify?

 

Are the domains a different age and are the expiring at different times? When there is nothing else (ie, no backlinks) these can be pretty important.

 

No, I'm not talking about the URLs in my signature. If you must know, I'm talking about www.pcs-fix.com (PR2 proxy - no backlinks) and www.tr1x.info (PR0 proxy - few backlinks). The age of each domain is only a few months, and they are practically the same age. I'm just wondering why one is PR0 when it actually has at least a few backlinks, while the other has none and is PR2..

 

In my opinion, I think one of them just missed the last PR update?
