Does anyone know what this means when you log into Google Sitemaps - "PageRank not yet assigned" - mine is showing almost 90% not assigned? Thanks Teeny
When Google carries out a PR toolbar update, its algorithm performs a lot of inter-page calculations to "accurately" assign PageRank correctly between the individual pages on a site. I would guess that PageRank not yet assigned means that Google is aware of the PageRank residing on the site but it hasn't yet fully assigned the PR accurately between the individual pages by running the necessary inter-page calculations.
You will have to wait for the next PageRank update- this does not mean that your page is not indexed though!
It means exactly that. PR is updated in real-time. You don't have to wait for the next PR update to see your pages to "move" to "Low PR" or "Medium" sections. Once PR is assigned, you'll see the PERCENTAGE of pages in "Low" or "Medium" ranges. BTW, from my experience the PR in the sitemap ranges is: Low -> PR0-PR3 Medium -> PR4-PR6 High -> PR7-PR10
its simply mean that your site is not having Page rank. if your site will be having PR it will write high, medium or low.
This also could mean that your site is BANNED. Please read the google terms of service and the PR section for more information on the same. If your site is sandboxed then you will have a PR But no listing. But if you are banned, you dont have nothing!!!! Regards Rajeev
