My website is not showing a pagerank since two days ago, it was showing 0 with a predicted pagerank of 3, but now it just shows n/a - I have tried numerous tools, and almost all say n/a - what does this mean, I am kind of freaking out? The domain is www.catyack.com

Well for some reason your page rank isn't available. (its not even 0). You can try checking Google Webmaster Tools

So if anything is wrong, it should be specified there.

    Perhaps that's because www.catyack.com redirects to http://www.catyack.com/wordpress/index.php - try entering http://www.catyack.com/wordpress/index.php or http://www.catyack.com/wordpress/

But either way, you have very few pages indexed and Google shows no incoming links so I would say the predicted PR3 is an exaggeration.

Check to see what headers your URLs are returning. Did you do the redirect correctly? And, by the way, why did you bother with the redirect if all that exists there is the blog? Why not install it to the root? Would solve a lot of problems.

I'm not talking about the PR problem. I'm talking about the fact that it has no incoming links reported, almost no pages indexed, and a redirect that may be faulty.

I'm using a proper 301 redirect with php. I thought that was what google preferred.

I don't like installing in the root on certain domains that I will have more content. Your right I hate using a redirect, but do you think it is really causing a problem?

Cool, thats good to know, I thought maybe by checking pr too often, I caused a problem.

Minstrel - I used this tool to check the page rank prediction - it shows 845 backlinks and a prediction of 3.4 - do you know of a better tool because this one shows 3.4

Not necessarily. I asked if you had checked the header information returned.

    It appears yours is fine:

So why are no incoming links showing?

I don't know, but the tools say I have links.

Maybe this problem is because of the 301 redirect, I probably just hosed my page rank moving at all.

his is the first time I have ever used a php redirect, I usually just use HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" and everyone says thats a bad idea, although my tshirt business site uses that, and it is a pr4, or maybe the other poster is right, and this is just a temporary thing, but it happened on another one of my sites too, and it is using the php redirect also, but not to wordpress, just to a gallery folder.
