Pagerank... no more major updates?

Are they moving towards real time update ? or update every week here and there for few sites ?....

 

It would be nice, and google has the technical capacity to do this .

Minor updates don't have a meaningful pattern. In fact, some minor updates are flushed out by Google tooling around with something unrelated to PR.

For example, the cluster of minors in June and July were related to revisions to Mayday upgrades. This most recent minor appears tied to issues Google was having with Feedburner. However the Toolbar PR system is configured, when Google has to flush some data from a broken system to get it back working, you often see a smaller, minor update around that time. This suggests that the Toolbar PR update is tied to a lot of systems.

The clunkier the PR update is -- particularly the fewer sites it covers -- the more likely it was related to Google fixing something else.

 

Speaking of clouds, there is a big weather storm going on around with a bunch of wind, something like a 'Chiclone' of sorts?

I'm thinking all the wind is going to blow a major bunch of pages around so the PageRank might change a bit at Google. This only makes reasonable sense to me. I would say about a day or two after the storm passes.

Yep, discussed so much at the moment. Has been over half a year. Will see if they ditch it altogether.

 

I do not believe it will be totally dropped, PR is a monetized niche for everyone.

It's actually good that Pagerank is updated so rarely, if it were updated every day it wouldn't be worth anything. It's easy to get to PR3, but you have to WAIT for so long that people will pay good money for a site like that.

 

yeah. It will update it soon i think. If it stops... then it removes the concept of PR. If not then the new site owners will struggle. So i think it updates soon. May be They are in big improvemnet in their algorithms

They've most likely switched to updating once a year, or not at all anymore.

 

Page rank is depend on google conditions.Once it satisfied You will get high rank.also can be change by google algorithm update.
