Pagerank is updating with prove

I look forward to the day that PR is in real time so that we all stop this.

I have seen some similiar pattern for a few websites of mine. Hope I can get positive results.

 

Pagerank matters only to the degree of the page/pages linking to you and many other factors.

 

Or at all...PR threads are quite annoying...so why am I here? I guess I'm just a masochist.

Otherwise, agree with most around here, stop making threads about every single change in PR/be it real or a single penalty/.

There are 2 cases:
1. You work for your clients and your sales! = u dont care about PR at all, you care about ur sales hence earnings;
2. You are selling links and you are so excited for each and every PR update! = not a good idea! Think about it...

...Read the DP if not aware - PR itself wont bring you neither traffic neither sales.. Ohh, ya, and if selling links - no one will buy if talking about PR updates all the time.

Personally I believe the PR is still being provided by G. only too take webmasters' eyes off the real ways to reach good rankings... naturally!

MY POINT:
I do link - just for fun - let's say I have pretty good rankings to a related site! YA, I do link without nofollow tag, cos they complement my niche 4 my clients - just the way I get some huge PR numbers natural links! Still I keep all my affiliate links with the nofollow tag, as well as these to most partnership sites, excluding these to my niche...
The point of my point - dont work for search engines - work for your sales/.clients! (i know its a cliche but after few years..not at all!).
If that is not your idea, better put on ur blackkhhat and hide...guess it will still work somehow..heard good points of view about that

There's been some huge fluctuations in traffic this week across many sites. My guess is although we may not be seeing a traditional PR update there is certainly an algo tweak in process or being tested. On one site I follow not only is traffic down but the traffic coming in has nothing to do with the site itself, G is picking random phrases from random pages and steering people there. Odd.

I did see something really bizarre at Google Webmaster Tools:

My site's External Links (backlnks) jumped from 1,805 to 2,416 --largest increase since I joined GWT in 6-08

(Same period YSE was between 5,600 and 6,600)

 

Does the PR or inner pages automatically updated without an Official PR update?

It seems that there is surely some sort of changes going around. My friends blogpost about tnomeralc web design toys which was written on march 2, 2009 gained a PR 0. The Digpagerank tool as well as toolbar shows the same result. Also seen a PR update on few other domains. The update may not be a regular update though.

 

Well.. I don't think so.. My guess is it won't update until this month end.

I too think the update is surely going to happen during the end of this month around march 30, 2009. I am not a predicting that but I hope so. It is almost 3 months since the last PR update.
