Pagerank GONE....then back again?

    Hi Guys,

I recently bought a PR4 website and after about 2 weeks it lost its PR. I was pretty surprised as the site had some strong links which were not going anywhere and the PR was not faked.

However thinking I lostout on this investment I let it go. 2 weeks later I checked the site again and its back up to a PR4.

Any ideas why this occured? Does google devalue when a change in domain ownership occurs?

    That's weird,
A possibility is that at the moment you checked and no pr showing up some datacenters were down
I use to check my pr with google toolbar at http://toolbar.google.com

I've had this happen before. I had a PR5 site go to 0 for a number of days then back to 5 again.

Sometimes it can happen, it's a server glitch. Use this tool: _http://www.digpagerank.com it can check hundreds of google PR servers and give you the correct result. ;)

Yes just the toolbar doesn't always load the PR of a site - usually refreshing the page will sort the problem out

It is just a glitch. Don't worry about it.
